Indiana Southern Trauma Regional Advisory Council (South TRAC)

The Indiana Southern Trauma Regional Advisory Council (S-TRAC) is an extension of the first Indiana State Trauma Plan adopted August 2, 2024, that includes a Northern, Central and Southern TRAC.

The Southern TRAC is comprised of Indiana’s Public Health Preparedness Districts: 8, 9 & 10. TRAC meetings are held quarterly and are designed to bring hospitals, EMS, Rehab, Homeland Security, and Community partners together to build a cohesive trauma and injury prevention program across the state.

The purpose of each regional trauma council is to address trauma system issues at the local level, foster interagency collaboration, ensure local input during the decision-making process, and maintain strong working relationships to facilitate resolution of local issues.
