2026 MRSE Registration

The District 9 Healthcare Coalition will conduct this grant year’s Medical Response & Surge Exercise (MRSE) on February 13, 2026, at Mid America Science Park in Scottsburg, IN from 11:30am-2:30pm.

The MRSE is an operations-based exercise required by the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) cooperative agreement. The exercise will follow the District 9 HCC Response Plan, focusing on response actions such as information sharing, resource allocation, and patient movement during a large, community-wide incident that results in a surge of patients.

To satisfy HPP cooperative agreement requirements all Core 4 HCC health care partners (hospitals, emergency medical services, emergency management organizations, and public health agencies) are required to be participants. Other HCC partners such as long-term care, home health, rural health clinics, behavioral health, and ambulatory surgical centers are encouraged and invited to attend.

To confirm your participation in the MRSE Exercise please register below. If you will be bringing other personnel from your facility/agency/organization please list them, along with their job titles, when you register in the space provided. For planning purposes and documentation, the deadline to register is Monday, February 9, 2026.
